6th Anniversary of Blessed Fruitful Generation Assembly in Abuja

By Oluwaseun Sonde

The Blessed and Fruitful Generation Assembly (a.k.a Abraham’s Family) a gathering of the children of God saddled with the responsibility of winning and nurturing souls for the kingdom of God, celebrated its 6th Anniversary recently, as God worked wonders in His Ministry, the congregation was fueled in the teachings of the Lord, and togetherness under the holy spirit of the Most High, heaven reigned, yoke broken, believers were fully blessed.

It was a 3days program as men of God from all works of life were showering anointing from heaven to the congregation of God, believers were jam-packed with lots of blessing. Genesis 1:28, God said unto them “be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” this was quoted from the Presiding Pastor’s wife, Mrs Tomi Alasoadura during Praise and Worship.

Also, giving her sermon tagged Priceless Benefit of Praising God, Mrs Alasoadura emphasized that praising God bring much more benefits in one’s life. “Praising God is an expression of respect, appreciation of gratitude toward almighty God (Sam 23: 3). Paul and Silas, prayed and praised God in prison as God worked miraculously in their lives, it was an outbreak of testimony, there was a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose, as we have praised God today, He has opened doors of blessing and loosed chains of hell in our live”, she prayed.

She noted that praising God increases one’s faith in Him, as God’s Glory manifest in one’s life. “I want you to start picturing the glory God has ordained for you, no matter what you are going through with praises onto the Lord, He will work miraculously in your life. There’s no better way to beat the blues than to change our focus from self to God. Such a shift produces the oil of gladness instead of mourning (Isaiah 61:3). The Lord is great and worthy of our praise. While it’s obviously good to praise and encourage those around us, God alone deserves our heartfelt worship and supreme allegiance”, she said.

She added that people have so much to praise God for. “There’s great power in giving honor to Him. And many of us live that truth out, every single day of our lives. The Bible is filled with examples of praise, when we see His power released, life-changing miracles, dramatic stories of the enemy being halted or defeated, hearts being changed and drawn closer to Him. Sometimes it really is a sacrifice to offer praise.  We may not feel like it.  We’re struggling.  We’re weary.  Or maybe, we feel like He let us down. We think God seems distant, like he’s far away, or doesn’t really care about what’s troubling us. Painful life blows and losses might have recently sent us spiraling. What can make a lasting difference is for us to make that decision to fix our eyes on God, and daily give Him praises, no matter what’s staring us straight in the face, we suddenly realize that God has already begun to release the grip those struggles can have over us”, she said.

The Presiding Pastor, Dipo Alasoadura in his short message, stressed that there are things God will not do through His Prophet except for individual to be in His present to recieve his or her blessing through one’s praises and prayer. “There are things God will not allow your General Overseer to do no matter how powerful or well known the man of God, those things can only be fulfilled through your gathering in God’s presence. That’s why the Bible says, do not despair God’s gathering. God will work wonders in His Ministry, many will be going home with showers of blessing”, man of God spoke with authority.

Some of the invited Men of God that graced the program includes, Prophet Williams and Evangelist Mercy Adekunle of Hidden Place of God Prayer Ministry, Pastor Adams Adah Igoche of Beulah Deliverance And Healing Ministry, Pastor Kanjuni Samuel Olanrewaju of RCCG Overcomers Assembly FHA Lugbe Abuja, Prophet Ayokunle Faluyi, Prophet Oluwafemi Akintorinwa and Akinrinola Akinjide of CAC, All saints Chapel, Cited Estate, Abuja.
