Abducted students released: I ask Nigerians to be fair to us – Buhari

Nigerian President, Muhammad Buhari has asked Nigerians to be patient and fair to his Government while his administration deal with the challenges of security, the economy, and corruption that faces the nation, vowed not to relent. 

President Buhari who made this appeal on his official social platform on Thursday, while reacting to the release of the kidnapped students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, said it’s a welcome development.

Adding that it’s a huge relief to the entire country and the international community, as the nation is grateful to Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, the Intelligence Agencies, the Military and the Police Force who have made it possible to secure their release.

He noted that his administration is fully aware of the responsibility they have to protect the lives and property of all Nigerians. “I ask Nigerians to be patient and fair to us as we deal with the challenges of security, the economy, and corruption. We will not relent”, he said.
