Nigerians who are yet to register with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) have been warned to prepare for the consequences of their failures to beat the deadline which is 19th of January, 2021.
The commission through its twitter handle has said on Tuesday that “By order of the Federal Government, today is given as the last chance to register your NIMC or face the wrath of what comes next.”
The Federal Government of Nigeria had earlier extended previous deadlines from 30th of December 2020 to January 19th 2021 to enable those yet to register to meet up.
However, millions of Nigerians are yet to get registered and link their SIM cards as ordered. Joint Admission and Matriculation Board and the Immigration had made NIN compulsory for its applications.
