Beirut: More Than 25 Died, 2500 Seriously Wounded, Hospitals Fill Up

The explosion that occurred in Beirut of Lebanon has claimed nothing less than 25 peoples’ lives and more than 2500 reported to have been seriously injured. According to the Lebanese Health Minister, Hamad Hassan, “It is a disaster in every sense of the word,” Hassan said in an interview with several television channels while visiting a hospital in the Lebanese capital.”

While the country’s officials are yet to ascertain the causes of the explosion, all medical hospitals in Beirut and environs have been filled up to the brim that, they started rejecting seriously wounded people, as dozens who make attempt to took people into various hospitals have been rejected as there are no space and resources to admitted more people.

In a swift reactions to help Lebanon control the Beirut ugly situation, the Iran government has announced their readiness to help the country in anyway they needed help. The Iran foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in his tweet said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the great and resilient people of Lebanon. As always, Iran is fully prepared to render assistance in any way necessary. Stay strong, Lebanon.”

The Secretary General of the Lebanese Kateb Party has been announced dead by the party through the explosion.
