Breaking: election: Uganda declares Thursday, Friday public holidays

The Ugandan Government has wished to notify the General public that Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January, 2020 will be observed as Public Holiday.
In a statement released by the Information Ministry on Wednesday, as this public holidays is to enable citizens participate in the election of the President and Members of Parliament.
According to the statement, “The General public is notified that Thursday 14th January 2021 and Friday 15th January 2021 will be observed as Public Holidays throughout Uganda to enable citizens participate in the election of the President and Members of Parliament”.
