Covid-19: Corp members embarks on 2 days sensitization in Minna

Corps Members of the National Youths Service Corp (NYSC) serving at the Nigeria Army Barrack in Minna have embarked on two (2) days sensitization of the Barrack community on the dangers of COVID-19 and all preventive measures to be adopted.

This was disclosed on the official social platform of National Youths Service Corp on Monday, Corps Members Abugu Emmanuel Nnamdi NG/19B/1097 and Aijeba Ilobekemen Martha NG/19B/1828 in collaboration with other Corps Members. After the two days sensitization by the Corps Members, they also distributed 2,000 pieces of face masks and 12 bottles each of disinfectant hand wash and sanitizer to residents of the Barrack.

Commending the efforts of the Corps Members, Major (Dr) E B kanhu who is in charge of the MRS Barracks, expressed gratitude to the Corps Members for their selfless service to humanity. Speaking at the event, the Corps Members who said they produced the face masks, hand wash and sanitizer by themselves at the Barrack expressed gratitude to the NYSC Niger State Coordinator, Mrs Funmilayo Ajayi, who encouraged them as well as the motivation of the TRADOC Commander, Major Gen AA Tarfa and the 31 Artillery Brigade Commander, Brig Gen JA Jimoh among others.
