COVID-19: Nigeria confirmed cases hits 11,116 with 315 fatalities

Nigeria has recorded 11,116 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 3329 recovered and discharged with 315 fatalities, 36 states including FCT were affected, as at when this report was filed. Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC made this known on its website on Thursday with 71,336 samples has been tested for the deadly virus.

Three hundred and forty-eight confirmed cases were reported in the last 24 hours in 19 states including FCT. The breakdown goes, Lagos has 163 cases, FCT with 76 cases, Ebonyi 23 cases. Rivers has 21 case, Delta with 8 case, Nasarawa 8 cases, Niger 8 cases, Enugu has 6 cases, Bauchi with 5 cases, Edo 5 cases, Ekiti 5 cases, Gombe 5 cases, Ondo 5 cases .

Benue has 4 cases, Ogun with 2 cases, Anambra with 1 case, Kogi with 1 case, Osun with 1 case and Plateau 1 case. No new state recorded a confirmed COVID-19 case in last 24 hours. The total number of states including FCT that have reported at least one confirmed case in Nigeria is still 36 (35 states with FCT). Ninety cases discharged in last 24 hours with 10 states.

Discharged cases in Kano 32, Lagos 20, Plateau 13, Katsina 9, Delta 4, FCT 3, Rivers 3, Ekiti 2, Gombe 2, Jigawa 2. One death recorded in last 24 hours with one state.
