The United Kingdom has begun its first vaccination against COVID-19 with 90 years old woman named Maggie, while the vaccine is fully-tested and approved on the National Health Scheme NHS.

UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson disclosed this on his official social platform on Tuesday, while hailing the NHS, the scientists who worked so hard to develop the vaccine, the volunteers and to everyone who has been following the rules to protect others.

Maggie would be the first person in the world to receive a fully-tested and approved Covid-19 vaccine on the NHS. “I can’t thank May and the NHS staff enough who have looked after me tremendously, and my advice to anyone offered the vaccine is to take it, if I can have it at 90 then you can have it too”, she said.

Maggie, who turns 91 next week. “I feel so privileged. It’s the best early birthday present I could wish for because I can finally look forward to spending time with my family and friends in the New Year after being on my own for most of the year”, she said.
