Deputy President William Ruto has opened up on claim of being wrestled out jubilee party saying that he has many options and is ready to bolt out of the party. Speaking in an exclusive interview,he acknowledged that the ruling party had been invaded by cartels and power brokers who have already declared that his top seat ambitions will not get anywhere.
He added,“ We ambolished 12 parties to form jubilee to unite the country….we had challenges because of the invasion of cartels and power brokers who have distabilised the party…… you have heard them saying that party members must either toe the line or leave….. They have even said that I will not be in the ballot come 2022.” He however remained hopefull that it has not yet reached the point where he has to leave the ruling party.
He also stated that leadership wrangles in jubilee is something that can be resolved but should he and president Uhuru Kenyatta fail to reconcile.he will consider his option ahead of 2022. Deputy President has however stayed put and kept his ambitions live by seeking for supporters across the country.
