#EndSARS: I’m distressed over unrest in Nigeria, says Adesina

The President of African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwunmi Adesina has said that he is distressed over the unrest in Nigeria, adding that the youths are the life of the nation as the ongoing #EndSARS protests elongated.

The AfDB President disclosed this on his official social platform on Saturday, he said “the youths are the present, our tomorrow and our future. Securing their future must start with protecting their lives”.

According to him, “Collectively, we must listen. We must hear.  We must act for peace, security, stability and the future of our nation.”With humility, reflection, respect, sensitivity, good faith, and law and order, let truth and justice reign. Protect the youth, engage the youth. Respect the youth. Protect the nation. Secure the future”, he said.
