#EndSARS: UN supports Nigeria Police reform, appeals for peace

The United Nations, Nigeria Resident Coordinator, Edward Kallon has said that Nigeria Government’s commitment to dismantle the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and reform the Nigeria Police Force is welcome, while appealed to Nigerian youths to remain peaceful.

The World body Coordinator disclosed this on his official social platform on Tuesday, he said he has followed the developments regarding #EndSARS movement as United Nations is committed to supporting Nigeria’s continued stability.

According to him, “I have followed the developments regarding #EndSARS movement. Government’s commitment to dismantle the outfit and reform the Nigeria Police Force is welcome. The process may take time. I appeal to the youth to remain peaceful. The United Nations is committed to supporting Nigeria’s continued stability”.
