The former Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos and Pro-Chancellor, Professor Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe died at the age 71.
Late Professor Ibidapo-Obe hails from Ile-ife, Osun state and had his primary education at African Church Primary School, Ebute Metta, secondary education at Obokun High School and Ilesa Grammar School. He attended University of Lagos for Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
Until his death, he became Professor of Systems Engineering and a visiting Research Professor at Texas Southern University in Houston, United States of America.
