Gov. Ikpeazu Visits Sanwo-Olu, Condemns Attack

Abia State Governor, Mr. Okezie Ikpeazu has visited Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to commiserate with him over the lost of property the state suffered from coordinated attack on public property in the state which was orchestrated by #EndSARS protest.

Mr. Ikpeazu thanked Sanwo-Olu for protecting Igbo and their businesses in Lagos during the dark days when hoodlums were unleashing terror on people and their businesses.He said he was touched by the level of destruction the witnessed noting that Lagos is home for all.

RECCIMA inaugurates Executive Council Members in Ogun

The Remo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (RECCIMA) has inaugurated the New Executive Council Members for another tenure of two years from 2020 to 2022, to enhance business development in Remo land, Ogun State.

This is in line with RECCIMA commitment to no political or religious creed in its attainment of all objectives, as the inauguration was done during the Annual General Meeting at Remo Presidential Pavillion Hall, Hotel De Eskay, Ogun State on Tuesday.

The Executive Secretary, Prince Abiodun Ogunlesi eulogized the ongoing President, Dame Adesola Olayinka Adebutu on her exemplary commitment toward the successful running of the Chamber for a decade, as she ensured that the ship remained afloat against all odds.

In her remark, the immediate past President of Nigeria Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Iyalode Alaba Lawson applauded the ongoing President, Adebutu for her commitment, which Lawson described as historical, while navigating the Chamber to a resounding upliftment of a decade.

She charged the newly Executive Council Members to be up and doing, to promote and protect business community, facilitate local networking for business development in Remo land and Ogun State at large, Lawson appealed for peace and unity among members.

The newly elected first Vice President of RECCIMA, Abiola Ogundeko, responding to an interview, said it’s a clearing call for him to do more, being one of the young Remo Ambassador that saddle with the responsibility of enhancing business activities, entrepreneurship skills to foster the development of Remo land.

“We the newly elected Executive Council Members will work in unification with the youths of the land to reduce unemployment and to provide a peaceful environment for all in Remo land. We will do more on membership drive, to enlighten the community on what RECCIMA is all about, also on membership development by adding value to every members”, he said.
