Dr. Faisal Shuaib and his team today v visited the World Health Organization (WHO) office where he presented strategy for improving Primary Health Care in Nigeria, towards achieving Universal Health Care.
Dr. Shuaib highlighted government’s revitalization efforts and plans and how it will be implemented in the next 10 years to achieve Universal Health Care. He said that Nigeria is poised to build a strong Primary Health Care (PHC) that can respond effectively to health emergencies.
In his remarks, the WHO Country Representative, Dr. Kazadi Mulombo expressed excitement and assured of WHO’s continuous support at all levels for Nigeria to achieve its plan on Universal Health Care.
