Ibadan Poly Senior Staff Begin 72-Hour Warning Strike

The senior staff of the Polytechnic Ibadan has embarked on a 3-day warning strike over non-implementation of minimum wage and other sundry issues.

The strike action has the backing of the resolution of the Congress of The Polytechnic Ibadan chapter of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) which held on Wednesday 4th Nov., 2020 at the North Campus pavilion of the institution.

Among what union itemized affecting welfare of members are; selective implementation of the 2013 scheme of service, state of the health centre, activity of consultant undermining the autonomy of the institution and conversion or redesignation of staff.
