The Chairman Independence Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye has briefed some National Orientation Agency (NOA) State Directors on the implementation of state-to-state campaign on citizen ownership of constituency projects in a bid to take the message to grassroots.
He made this known at the press briefing for the campaign implementation on ownership on constituency project in Abuja on Wednesday.
Prof Owasanoye said the programme is not targeted at legislators. “That it is basically conceived to call citizens to action in terms of making constituency projects central issue in communities across the country.
“I want us to be careful and professional in trying to get buy-in for My Constituency My Project campaign for which we are partnering the NOA owing to its spread and specialty in citizens engagement. Constituency project is best way to touch lives,” he said.
