Beyoncé’s Ivy Park has taken down a post where two white girls where posing for the clothing brand as black girls. The two women, who have been identified as Russian, seem to have misrepresented themselves by excessively tanning their bodies while also wearing braids and curly wigs.

I’m their defense, one of them had this to say: “There is nothing wrong with feeling inspired and using the legacy of other races.” She also went on to claim that they are of gypsian and caucasian descent which is not 100% white.Needless to say, the black community found this very offensive and demanded that Ivy Park take down their post.

“The issue isnt that they are white and wearing the clothes. The issue is that they are white posing as Black women wearing a Black owned brand that furthered their blackfishing platform,” said one Twitter user.Although Ivy Park has not issued a public apology or statement, they have since deleted the post.
