Katsina abducted schoolboys, recurring nightmare – Okonjo-Iweala

The Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has said that the abduction of more than 300 school boys in Katsina is heartbreaking, adding that it’s a recurring nightmare.Okonjo-Iweala made this known on her official social platform on Tuesday, while expressing saddness over the unfortunate incident.

She sent her condolences to the families of the missing students. “My heart goes out to the families of the missing boys”.Okonjo-Iweala called on the authorities to do all possible to “Bring Back Our Boys”. Those using our children as pawns must be held accountable”, She said.

According to her, “The abduction of more than 300 school boys in Katsina is heartbreaking. What a recurring nightmare.”My heart goes out to the families of the missing boys. It was recalled that on the 11th of December, 2020, attack was carried out on a secondary school in Katsina State, while reported that abduction of hundreds of boys by suspected armed bandits.
