A Nigerian pastor and three other victims including a lady who were kidnapped on Monday in Ogwashi Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigerian have been freed from the dent of their captors.
The Delta State Police Command through the state police public relations officer DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya confirmed the release on Wednesday while speaking to the press.
The DSP however did not make it known if any ransom was paid before their release.
According to the Punch Newspaper, the abductors suspected to be fulani herders had earlier placed a N10 million ransom on the kidnapped persons.
Onowakpoyeya, however, said, “They have been released. That is all I can tell you. Whether a ransom was paid or not, I don’t know.”
