Larry King dies aged 87

Talk show host, Larry King, has died at the age of 87. The sad news was shared by his family and media company a few hours ago. He is said to have passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles while receiving treatment for a Covid-19 related complication.

“With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning,” read the press statement.

King was well known for his hosting stints on CNN’s Larry King Live and personal program Larry King Now. He received over 12 awards during his 64-year career. King will be well known for his unique “straight-to-the-point” interviewing style which many of his guests found refreshingly easy to respond to. Tributes for the legendary broadcasting icon have been pouring in from the entire entertainment industry.

He is survived by his three children Larry Jr, Chance and Cannon.
