
Senate President, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan has decried the fleecing of Nigerians of their hard earned money to drop calls, stressing that the development has become very unacceptable and must be resolved.
Speaking while declared open a Joint Public Hearing of the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Communication in Abuja on Wednesday.
The joint hearing is to address the Increasing rate of drop calls and other unwholesome practices by telecoms network operators that has robbed Nigeria of their hard earned billions of Naira.
He mandated the committee to not only look into improving on the poor service of drop calls, but to also look into all the money the services providers have raked in from Nigerians without rendering the service by dropping their calls.
