Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has marked her mum’s 81st posthumous birthday with prayers. The prayers held at his residence to celebrate Mama Abigail Makinde’s 81st posthumous birthday. Mama Abigail Makinde died in October few days to her 81st birthday.
“This morning, we held prayers to mark what would have been my mother-Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Makinde’s 81st birthday. “Mama lives on in our hearts and in the legacy of discipline, kindness and generosity she taught us. May her soul continue to rest in peace,” Gov. Makinde wrote.

All South West Governors across the six states today meet in Lagos to discuss how they can make the region more secure and free from violence.
Traditional rulers across all Yoruba states in the region were in attendance.
Their meeting focused on the recent destruction of public and private property the region witnessed due #EndSARS protest which hijacked by hoodlums. The Chairman of South West Governors’ Forum, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state said the coordinated protest shook the region to its foundation.
The Chief of Staff, Prof. Gambari Ibrahim represented President Muhammadu Buhari. Leading traditional rulers present at the programme were Aláàfin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II and host of others.
