Mombasa Radio Host Gates Mgenge Forced To Dress In Dera

A promise is a debt. Gates Eric Mgenge who is a Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho’s brand manager and a radio host at Pwani FM had promised his fans to dress in a dera, turban, and makeup if Manchester United lost to Chelsea in an FA cup game.

Unfortunately, Eric was not lucky because Man United ended up losing the game and the radio host presenter had no other choice other than dressing as he had earlier promised. He wore a dera and makeup and a put on a turban on his head.

Also, comedian Timothy Kimani popularly known as Njugush learned the hard way. Njugush had promised his wife Celestine Ndinda that if Manchester United lost to Chelsea in an FA cup game, he will look like an old man.

When Manchester United lost to Chelsea in an FA cup game, Njugush had no other choice other than putting on a mustache and getting a haircut only on the middle part of his head which left him looking like an old man. Most of his fans started referring to him as “Small Kibaki”.
