NCDC announce 399 new cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 399 new cases of COVID-19, making the total number of infections in the country to 160, 332. This was disclosed by NCDC on their Twitter handle. “On the 12th March 2021, 399 new cases was confirmed and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria. “Till date, 160,332 cases have been confirmed, 144,059 cases have been discharged and 2,009 deaths have been recorded in the 36 states and the FCT.

NCDC said, “The 399 new cases are reported from 18 states, 101 from Lagos, 96 from Anambra, 50 from Edo, 29 from Abia, 28 from Imo, 19 from Ogun, 16 Akwa Ibom, 13 from Kaduna, 7 from FCT. While others are, 6 from Bayelsa, 6 from Kano, 6 from Oyo, 5 from Delta, 5 from Rivers, 4 from Nassarawa, 3 from Ebonyi, 3 from Osun and 2 from Gombe.
