Oyo Govt Concludes Plan to Employ 5,000 Teachers — TESCOM Chairman

The Chairman, Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Pastor Akinade Alamu has disclosed that Oyo State government under the leadership of Engr Seyi Makinde has concluded plan to employ 5,000 teachers to cover the shortage of teaching personnel in the state.

He made the disclosure while featuring on Fresh 105.9fm, Ibadan to give update about the recruitment exercise that began few months back in the state.Pastor Alamu said applicants who scored above 50% and attended oral interview can proceed to oyo job portal to check their names.

While giving the breakdown how about physically challenged applicants who didn’t participate in the CBT, he said out of 350 application the Commision received, 150 applicants were employed as teaching personnel while 50 got non-teaching job offer after they were screened by seasoned educators.
