Prince Harry has taken over Mutusadonha National park in a bid to conserve the black rhino and elephant population. The national park has in recent years lost most of its black rhino to poachers and stands to lose even more elephants if conservationists do not intervene. Mutusadonha National park is situated in the north of Zimbabwe and is flanked by the Kariba dam and has the potential to become a world class tourist destination. The Duke of Sussex, through a charitable organization African Parks has pledged to inject over US$8 million into the resuscitation of the park. He has also pledged to ensure the end of black rhino and elephant poaching.
