The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned 31 network of roads in fulfilment of his campaign promise to the people of Ojokoro area a year ago.
In a statement released on social media platform on Tuesday.
According to him “these network of roads were awarded by previous administration and abandoned since 2017. Our administration believes governance is a continuum and we decided to complete the roads in line with our agenda to provide infrastructure across the state that will improve the quality of life for the people.
“We will continue to work to improve social services and revamp infrastructure across various sectors in Lagos. The network of roads commissioned today will provide inter- connectivity between 4 communities in Ojokoro LCDA”, he said.
Some of the roads are Odunalayo Str, Funso Owoyemi Str, Aremu Lawal Street, Gbola Onibiyo Street, Apostolic Faith, Edun Alaran Road Phase 1 and 2 and Ogundipe Street.
Other roads commissioned include Olubukola Ilori, Sahel Crescent, Unity Road, Mustapha Hassan Street, Hassan Makinde Street, Ile-Anu Street, Abu Balogun Street, Phillip Majekodunmi Street, Joana Olufowora Street, David Oladokun street, Ganiyu Oladeinde Street, Orotayo street, Ahmadiyyah Street, Akinsola Street, Santos Avenue, Segun Adetiba Road, Suberu Street and Amusa Agbaje street.
