Sanwo-Olu Presents 2021 Appropriation Bill to Lagos Assembly

The executive governor of Lagos state, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented N1.155 Trillion Naira budget for year 2021 to the Lagos State House of Assembly.The governor presented the appropriation bill today at the Lagos State House of Assembly Chamber, the appropriation bill titles Budget of Rekindled Hope”.

The budget is expected to channel towards rebuilding Lagos infrastructural facilities after the wanton of properties were destroyed by the hoodlums that hijacked #EndSARS protest in the State.

Probe UAE’s findings Boko Haram Sponsor — Zulum to FG

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state has urged the federal government to probe findings of United Arab Emirates over conviction of some Nigerians sponsoring Boko Haram sect in the country.It would be recalled that Abu Dhabi appeal court upheld the conviction of some Nigerians recently who were allegedly involved in allegedly a tune N300m as financial assistance to Boko Haram in the country.

The individuals involved in the dastardly act allegedly used bureau de change operations to send $782,000 to Boko Haram in 17 separate transfers from Dubai to Nigeria between 2015 and 2016.Governor Zulum said it’s almost 11 years Boko Haram sect have been terrorising Borno state and other north east region of the country.Governor Zulum affirmed that an estimated of over $9billion have been lost in the region.
