Super Eagles’ Captain Honours Gov Bello of Kogi

The Captain of the Nigeria national football team, Super Eagles, yesterday, paid a homage to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onogwu Muhammed.

According to the statement, the national team’s captain and Nigeria international, Ahmed Musa who was received in audience at the governor’s office, said he admires the leadership style of the youthful governor especially in the area of youth inclusiveness in governance.

The statement reads, “Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello on Tuesday evening received in audience, the Captain of the Nigerian National Football Team, Ahmed Musa.
“The Governor who is a staunch fan of Chelsea Football Club is also a great admirer of Ahmed Musa and the entire Super Eagles Team.

“While receiving the soccer talisman, Governor Bello described Ahmed Musa as an excellent and clinical attacker who with the entire Super Eagles team has brought so much pride to the soccer aficionado both within and outside the country.

“Earlier , the super striker described the Governor as a bridge builder who has dedicated himself as the nexus between the youths and the elderly in governance.

“While presenting the Super Eagles jersey to the Governor, Ahmed Musa said he has so much admiration for the leadership style of Yahaya Bello especially in the area of youth and women involvement in governance as demonstrated by the Governor.”
