34 year old Zimbabwean and Springboks prop Tendai “The Beast” Mtawarira has announced his retirement from international rugby. Mtawarira retires after a 12 year career, having appeared in 117 test matches. He’s contribution to the World Cup win was a vital one, helping the Springboks dominate England in the scrum. Mtawarira thanked South Africa for allowing him to play for the national team. He also thanked his family for supporting his career. The Beast will surely be missed……
