Thanksgiving: Celebrate virtually – Obama advises Americans

The American Former President, Barrack Obama has advised Americans to celebrate the Thanksgiving virtually, so as to keep safe and healthy, as surge of the deadly Coronavirus still in the nation.

The Former President gave the advise on his official social platform on Wednesday, Obama asked Americans to wear masks to curb the spread of the virus.

According to him, “Let’s all do our part this Thanksgiving to keep people safe and healthy. Celebrate virtually, if you can. Wear a mask. And as always, listen to the experts. The choices you make could save lives.

Thanksgiving Day, annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year.

Americans generally believe that their Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims) of Plymouth and the Wampanoag people.
