Three men arrested for homosexuality in Bauchi

Three men have been apprehended for homosexuality in Bauchi state, Police Command has said. According to the Command’s Spokesman, Ahmed Wakili said one Ibrahim Salihu of Makama new extension, Federal Low-cost, Bauchi reported on the April 5 that, one Yusuf Saleh, male 36 years of Zango area in Bauchi lured his younger brother, Umar Ibrahim, mala 20 years into an uncompleted building at same address and forcefully had anal-sexual intercourse with him.

The accuse reportedly bought a drink, two biscuits for Umar to as bait. “Following the report, one suspect, Yusuf has confessed to the crime,” the Police PRO said. “Similarly, on June 10 at about 10:00am, operatives attached to the Command on tip off arrested one Abdullahi Muazu, 32 years and Adamu Idris 22 years both in Azare, Katagum local government area, suspected to have engaged themselves in sexual intercourse against the other of nature.

“Upon investigation, the suspects confessed and mentioned their syndicates as follows; one Alhaji Ahmed Azare, 60 years lecturer in Aminu Sale Collage of Education, Azare, Ishyaku Hassan, aged 48years, attached to Katagum Emirate Council, Babangida Hashimu, 24years, Kamal Ismail, 22years, Misbahu Ibrahim, 24 years and Sadiq Shehu. Our operatives of the Bureau swung into action and arrested the aforementioned suspects.
