Ugandan Govt calls for peaceful election

The Ugandan Government has said that elections are important mechanism in democratic and peace processes, which provide citizens opportunity to choose freely their political leaders and allocate power peacefully.

In its official social platform on Thursday, the Ugandan Government emphasized on peaceful election, adding that when the time comes, citizens should show up and vote peacefully.

Accordingly, “It should be a clean campaign season, and voting should be peaceful because all candidates won’t win the contest, but one of them will definitely win.

“It’s important to understand that we are part of a world wide intergenerational struggle for survival, respect and prosperity”, Ugandan Government said.
