Unknown gunmen reportedly stormed Bassa community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State in the wee hours of Thursday and kidnapped 50 persons.
The bandits who were said came in their large numbers with motorcycles, disrupted the setting out of the residents who scampered into the bushes.
Sani Abubakar Kokki, the Co-convener Concerned Shiroro Youths who confirmed the attack said the number of the victim is yet to be ascertained but that many people were captured.
He described the attackers as terrorists. Adding that the community is in dire need of help as the people live in fear and mercy of terrorists.
