The United States Democratic Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden has said that Americans can only decide the winner through their votes over the ongoing elections, while neither imcubent President Donald Trump nor him can decide the winner.

He made this known on his official social platform on Thursday while launched Biden Fight Fund, to help the electoral protection efforts across United States as he called for all votes to be counted.

According to him, “Donald Trump does not decide the outcome of this election and nor do I. The American people decide. That’s why we’ve launched the Biden Fight Fund to ensure every vote is counted”.

Kamala Harris, who is Biden’s running mate on her social platform said “No matter what Trump says, we must count every single vote. Donate to the Biden Fight Fund today to ensure we have the resources we need to fight to ensure this process remains fair”.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign said the president would formally request a Wisconsin recount, citing “irregularities in several Wisconsin counties”.

Incomplete results indicate the margin between Mr Trump and Mr Biden in Wisconsin is less than one percentage point, which allows a candidate to seek a recount.

The campaign also filed a lawsuit in Michigan to stop counting there because it contended it had been denied “meaningful access” to observe the opening of ballots and the tally.
