US Govt provides $17m humanitarian aid to victims of hurricane iota

The United States Government has provided U.S. Military rescue craft and $17 millions in humanitarian aid to assist and help save lives of the people of Central America and Colombia suffering from the impacts of Hurricanes Iota and Eta.

The United States Secretary, Mike Pompeo disclosed this on his official social platform on Sunday, he prayed for quick recovery of victims of the hurricane iota and Eta in Central America and Colombia.

According to him, “Our prayers are with the people of Central America and Colombia suffering from the impacts of Hurricanes Iota and Eta.

“The people of the U.S. are behind you. We are mobilizing U.S. military rescue craft and $17 million in humanitarian aid to assist and help save lives”, he said.

Meanwhile, many people have lost their lives as the strongest Atlantic hurricane of the year rips through areas of Central America, while thousands were forced to flee their homes as Hurricane Iota hits.
