Zimbabwe Covid-19 cases surpass 4 000, the health ministry says

Zimbabwe on Monday recorded 154 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the country’s total confirmed infections to 4 075, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has said. These are all local cases who are isolated.

In an update on Monday night, the Ministry said ten people succumbed to the virus, bringing the country’s death toll to 80. The number of people who have recovered from the virus increased by 41 to 1 057, leaving 2 938 active cases. The country has done a total of 137 808 Covid-19 tests to date.
