Gambia to receive African leaders for Barrow’s inauguration

The Gambia’s Government is expecting African leaders across the continent for the inauguration of Adama Barrow as the reelected President of the country on Wednesday, 19th January, 2022.

In a statement released on the State House of the Gambia social media official page on Tuesday, while stated how the Heads of State will arrive the country as scheduled for the inauguration.

On December 4th, the Gambian people, united in mission and vision, voted for peace, progress and prosperity under the leadership of President Barrow who was re-elected and will be sworn-in for a 2nd term tomorrow.

According to the scheduled of the arrival of the Heads of State, on Tuesday, 18th January 2022, Faure Essozimma Gnassingbé of the Republic of Togo, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazoauni of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

Also, Julius Maada Bio of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Umaro Sissocò Embalo of the Republic of Guinea Bissau and Nana Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana.

On Wednesday, 19th January, 2022 Macky Sall of the Republic of Senegal, Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and George Manneh Weah of the Republic of Liberia
